We will participate in CODA’s Dragon Boat Regatta on June 26 (Sat) located at Mann-Nyholt Lake if there is enough interest.
Races: We are competitive, but our focus is having fun and paddling as one! To guarantee a spot on the boat for race day, you must attend AT LEAST 4 PRACTICES throughout the season. Although you are encouraged to come to as many practices as possible, we understand life happens. The first practice is Thursday, July 1 and the last practice is Thursday, September 23. Team Practices: We have weekly practices alternating between Thursdays and Saturdays on Sloans Lake.

JASC races in the 250 meter Flag Catching Division at the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival on Sloan’s Lake. If you are looking for a Japan-related team to join, enjoy being in a boat and are ready to smile and sweat, please join us! (Our inaugural team was 90% novices!) We are competitive, but mainly focus on having a great time out on the water and learning to paddle as one. You do not need prior paddling experience. Team Nichi-Bei-GO had such a great time that with overwhelming requests from the JASC community, we have continued to sponsor a team every year since! Our boat is made up of both Japanese and non-Japanese JASC members. JASC sponsored a Dragon Boat team for the first time in 2018.
